Privacy policy and Cookies

PRIVACY INFORMATION (simplified)

The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide maximum transparency regarding the information that the site collects and how it uses it.

In compliance with the obligations deriving from national (Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, Personal Data Protection Code, and subsequent amendments) and European (European Data Protection Regulation no. 679/2016, GDPR) legislation, this site respects and protects the confidentiality of visitors and users, making every possible and proportionate effort not to infringe users’ rights.
This site does not publish advertisements, does not use data for the purpose of sending advertisements, but uses third party services in order to improve the use of the site, third parties that may collect data from users and then use them to send personalized advertisements on other sites. However, this site makes every effort to protect your privacy and minimize the collection of personal data. For example, the site sometimes uses YouTube videos, which are set so that they do not send cookies (and therefore do not collect data) until the user starts the video. In fact, you can see that instead of the video there is only a placeholder. The site also uses social plugins to make it easier to share articles on social networks. These plugins are configured so that they only send cookies (and thus possibly collect data) after the user has clicked on the plugin.
Please note that the management of cookies is complicated, both by the site operator (who may not be able to manage third-party cookies correctly) and by the user (who may block cookies that are essential for the operation of the site). So a better, and simpler, way to protect your privacy is to use anti-tracking tools, which then block tracking by third party sites (read -> Protect online privacy. For this purpose we recommend the use of Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin).
For further information on the processing of personal data you can read the full information below.
